Trend at a glance

Stock chart and indicator guides

A plain-English library for reading price charts with more context and less noise. These guides explain the ideas behind the charts on Trend at a Glance.

Charts describe what a market has already done. They do not tell you what will happen next. Once you understand the parts of a candle, how an average is calculated and why a trend filter reacts slowly, a chart becomes much easier to read calmly.

These guides are written for people who want to understand market data, not for people looking for signals. Every page avoids personalized recommendations and points back to the same idea: use data to ask better questions.

Why we publish guides

Stock chart tools are often explained with a wall of jargon. We prefer a quieter approach: explain the input data, show the calculation in plain language, then let you inspect the chart yourself. The goal is to make market structure easier to observe, not to make predictions sound certain.

How the workspace fits in

Trend at a Glance focuses on US equities and index charts. You can view delayed 2-hour, daily and weekly candles, keep a small watchlist and review pre-computed line overlays on subscribed stocks. It deliberately does not place trades, manage money or send personalized alerts.

Educational information only. Market data is delayed by at least 24 hours and is not suitable for execution or time-sensitive decisions.

See it on a real chart

Open the workspace to explore delayed US stock charts, switch between 2H, 1D and 1W timeframes, and examine trend overlays on real market history.
